The RNC community ushered in the Year of the Snake with a series of exciting Chinese New Year celebrations.
One of the enrichment activities we offer at the College is gardening and horticulture. This particular activity is lead by two dedicated volunteers, Paul Smith and Phil Griffiths, who give up their Wednesday mornings to guide students in various gardening techniques using the College's Polytunnel.

Students enjoyed a fascinating trip to Hereford's Black and White House in mid-January. This beautifully preserved 17th-century timber-framed building stands in the centre of Hereford city.

Huge thanks to The Press Room in Leominster for their incredibly generous donation of £131 to RNC! They held a Charity Quiz in December and after watching Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell on BBC Strictly Come Dancing, they were inspired to support a charity for the blind.
Being blind can be very hard, you miss out on some beautiful things, like the setting sun over a beach or a wonderful winter landscape with shining icicles that look like crystals glinting in the sun, but being blind at Christmas can have its good side too.
Our Judo Academy continues to thrive, with some fantastic achievements to celebrate. Recently, several students took part in their first-ever Judo grading, with Ana, Rose, Amelie and Lucia proudly receiving their red belts.
Students enjoyed a very entertaining, informative, and hands-on experience in December, when Luke from Wye Valley Falconry brought in array of magnificent birds of prey to the College. It gave students the opportunity to learn about, and interact with, some of these majestic creatures.
Students Guoguo and Meyrem have recently completed practical assessments for the unit 'Provide a Creative Activity' as part of their Level 1 Award in Caring for Children Under Five. Both students were required to independently plan and deliver a creative activity.
RNC was delighted to welcome back former student Tiri Hughes, who recently returned to the College to share her journey from RNC to a successful career in medicine. Tiri, who studied A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Psychology from 2015 to 2018, captivated the audience with an honest and humorous account of her experiences.
